अहिंसा सत्यं अस्तेयं शौचं इन्द्रिय निग्रहः   | 
एतं  सामासिकं धर्मं चातुर्वर्ण्ये अब्रवीन मनुः  ||   M 10.63


10.63:  Dharma in Summary [ सामासिकं धर्मं ]

01 अहिंसा    Abstention from injuring (all living things), 
02 सत्यं        Truthfulness, 
03 अस्तेयं     Abstention from unlawfully appropriating (the goods of others), 
04 शौचं        Purity, and 
05 इन्द्रिय निग्रहः  Control of the sense organs, 

Manu has declared to be the summary of the law for all [the four castes of]  men.
